Great Course! Great Instructor!
I recently attend the 5-day SharePoint 2007 Developer Track (June 2007) at Combined Knowledge's purpose-built training suite located at the Ullesthorpe Court Hotel and Golf Club.
Enjoyed the good food, superb hotel service, free Internet access, the well-equipped gym and swimming pool, since I had come prepared this time, having attended the SharePoint 2003 Developer Track last year. The chauffer-driven Audi A6 drive to and from Birmingham airport arranged by the company was a nice extra stress-free addition to the whole experience.
While the course was demanding, starting at 8.30am and somedays finishing after 5pm, we learnt a lot with all our personal questions and requirements catered for. We even had extra talks by external consultants and presentations by K2 of their "Black Pearl" platform system. I even managed an attendance at the SharePoint UK User Group meeting at Telford.
We had discussions with Steve Smith (SharePoint MVP), Brett Lonsdale and Penny Coventry, all of whom are co-authors of some of the better SharePoint books out there. The course itself is based on the Mindsharp courses created by famed SharePoint authors, Todd Bleeker and Bill English. Combined Knowledge are Mindsharp's SharePoint training representatives for Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Another of my colleagues recently attended the 5-day SharePoint Administrator Track in May 2007 organised by Combined Knowledge and he had only one word for the course - Awesome!
Throughly enjoyable, top quality course material (in colour), well paced training and definitely recommended!

This course concentrates on SharePoint 2007 from the perspective of users who will be assigned the role of a SharePoint Member and Site Owner. This course is aimed at a non-technical user who will view, edit and contribute content to a Windows SharePoint Services Site and administer those sites.
SharePoint 2007 Train the Trainer
This course will train an experienced trainer how to teach the Mindsharp Power End User 2007 SharePoint courseware including: Member and Site Owner. We will go through each course with the intent of learning SharePoint, best teaching practices, learn the scope and vision of each, and be equipped with a broader knowledgebase of the courses. A participant in this Train the Trainer should have introductory to intermediate technical level experience and knowledge with SharePoint Technologies and should be accustomed to teaching in the classroom and learning new material with a view to teaching it.
